Alelua almost never speaks.
She's perfectly capable of it; her vocal chords and lungs work fine.
But to speak is to change the world. For a sorceress like her, that is entirely literal.
With enough will and magical energy, Alelua can literally convince the universe to change. She once convinced an apple tree to grow plums, and often convinces water that it is actually hot for a nice bath. These little things are no problem; the problem is what she fears she could do in anger.
Convince the air that it is poisonous.
Break the magic that binds a dragon to life.

Like most mirrors, Alelua has a short temper. It's safer for everyone if she just limits what she says. No, she's not lonely... why would you say that?
