She was perfection, known by all for her gentle nature. She was the ideal light dragon. Their icon, mascot even. Her soft lilac tail curled behind her, bubblegum wings folded ever so carefully against a cotton candy mane. She was the softest gentlest dragon, never said anything to upset anyone. Not a foul word left her mouth. Dragonets loved to give her gifts, bows and ribbons and things to put on her wings and antlers. But of course she was not forever... no one dragon ever is. She prolonged her stay as much as she could, but no one keeps their childhood toys. When a new dragon with prettier markings, a softer mane, a gentler smile was born, she was cast away as easily as a crinkled rose. But she was still herself, the gentle innocent loving dragon. Unlike the newcomer, it was never an act. So as she looked upon the new dragon, she felt no jealousy - only happiness that she had made others smile with her in the light. Instead of shooting the dragon poisonous glances and allowing herself to stay and slowly deteriorate in the Flight of the Sun, she left. She strode into the woods with much less than half of the garments the dragons had bestowed upon her. She had given the rest back for the newcomer. And she walked... and walked and walked for days. A smile on her face and a gentleness in her eyes, she walked until she finally found more dragons. A vigilante group that fought the BeastClans, she instantly liked them. They were welcoming as they saw her, cold and tired, wandering the woods like a lost spirit. She couldn't help but notice the ogling eyes of dragons who had forced themselves into a life devoid of beauty like hers. She stayed with them for who knows how long. She sang with them, she told stories she had heard or even lived, and most of all she danced, oh her dances... they were swirling and elegant and breathtaking. The forest group would stop whatever they were doing to watch Sweetpea dance. But again, she could not stay forever. This time she was not forced to go, but she argued that she did not help her new clan in any way, only took up food, and space, and danced and sang. They begged her to stay, for they did truly love the spot of brightness in all the shadow, but she would not be a burden to them. Sweetpea left, accompanied by several warriors to protect her in the deadly wood. She fell in love with one of those warriors, her protector, and when she found a new clan, he remained with her instead of returning home. Time passed, they raised a number of beautiful hatchlings and watched them go, and they were happy. That happiness was shattered when she lost her beloved Hawksight - he left on a mission to another clan and never returned... and as she knew he would never abandon her willingly, she could only take it as a sign that something terrible had happened to him.
