Survive.
Electrician's Crown Burnished Gold Gauntlets Chromodori Swimmer Hyperion is a fugitive who found refuge in the Pearl Empire. He is usually tight-lipped about his reasons for leaving his previous clan, but based on hints dropped in conversations with various dragons, the Empire has managed to piece together the basic facts:
  • A tyrannical king
  • An ambitious young prince, vying for power and influence with his four siblings
  • A rebellion
  • Betrayal
  • Then...widespread slaughter and mass executions, leaving Hyperion the sole survivor.
Hyperion fled across the Carrion Canyon, hunted all the way by trackers from his old clan. To shake them off his trail, he scrolled himself into a Bogsneak - a species known for its elusiveness and strong defensive abilities. Voluntary breed changes are extremely uncommon among dragons - a change of breed is effectively a change of personality, and a transformation of a dragon's core self. But desperate times called for desperate measures.

One change of breed, change of name and change of self later, the newly morphed Bogsneak made his way to safety, leaving the past behind forever.
