Apophyllite

There once was a dragon who was born to shine brighter than all others. She glowed with a light from the Lightweaver herself, and this little dragonet knew it. Apophyllite was well aware about how much better she was compared to the dragons around her, and she liked to make sure the others knew it was well.

Some say that her youthful years were easy, with constant blessing and praises from the ones around her. Those who say that are the ones who know the least about Apophyllite, and she resents the rumors that surround her. Conceited she may be, this dragon has not gone without her own share of hardships. The mask she uses to conceal half of her face is fact enough that the light has not always been with her.

Nevertheless, this did not sway her pride and glow.

Despite her arrogant attitude, there's only so much time before dragons begin to come to her looking for a leader. She basked in the attention, and did everything in her power to become the best guide she could be. Apophyllite took in those who needed light in their lives, showing them that there was a place for even the most lost of dragons.
