The matriarch perches in the shade of a great tree, gazing fondly down at her clan. The silks and flowers that adorn her form flutter in the slight breeze. She smiles contentedly as clan life bustles all around the lair. The melody of hatchlings laughing and full-grown dragons conversing floats up to her small ears, reassuring her that all is well. She extends a bit of magic to make flowers bloom on the branch around her, which provides her head with a fragrant pillow.
She has been here since the beginning, and with the blessing of the Gladekeeper, she will be here until the end.

Extended Lore

When the plague swept through the clan, Petal was one of the few survivors. The immeasurable losses have only made her more sympathetic to those who have also lost clans or clanmates, and she welcomes anyone into her slowly re-growing clan with open wings.
