Time ticks away, like water through sand.

If you look at the nesting records for a rather large clan residing in the darkness surrounding the Spiral Keep, you would find...a rather peculiar occurance.

A nest of eight eggs.

Two Guardians.

Five Mirrors.

Five females.

Two males.

The eldest among them has never spoken a single word.

The youngest is only silent when they are sleeping.

The rest fall somewhere in between.

They are extremes, and yet...

They are identical.

If you ask them about the future, they will tell you of the past.

If you ask about the past, they will tell you of the future.

And if you ask about the present...

They will simply look at you, and either change the subject, or turn and walk away.
