Navito is a founder of the clan, which is a little difficult to explain to hatchlings, since he's originally from the plague flight, not the ice flight. He was very clingy to his mate, Anaike. Anaike was cold and fiercely loyal to the Plaguebringer. This was during a time where the plague flight was struggling with staying dominant. She wanted to start a family with Navito, that would grow into warriors for the plague flight. However, Navito didn't care much for children, and feared, if they did have hatchlings, for their safety.
Anaike eventually pressured him into it though, and their hatchlings were indeed sent off to war. Every one of them.
This caused Navito to break under the pressure, and snap at his mate. Anaike decided he was too soft and a traitor to their flight, so she left him to join their kids.
Navito was traumatized for years after losing his only family, but is now fairly well off. The only thing he regrets is not sticking up for his children, who were very young at the time they were exalted.
He doesn't view himself as particularly important, but the older members of the clan have been insistent on him having a say in things. He isn't too worried anymore, as he's not majorly responsible for the clan in any way. Less so than he used to be, which was very stressful for him. Much to his disliking, the clan still has some harsh practices, but not as harsh as they used to be. Therefore, he tries not to worry about it too much, and assumes, for the most part, that it's in good claws.
Now that he has way less responsibility, he has taken a liking to plants and flowers in particular. He spends most of his time taking care of flowers to sell bouquets of, and occasionally edible plants for the herbivores of the clan.
