Ousted from his birthclan for attempting to kill the clan leader, Scourge was left with lingering scars and a huge chip on his shoulder. Determined to become the true leader and subjugate all clans to his service, he is ruthless, cunning and opportunistic.

Or at least that's what he would tell you if you asked him.

In reality, Scourge was banished from his clan as a hatchling for indeed attempting to kill the leader and take his place. Since then he has been wandering, learning how to survive and getting his tail handed to him a fair bit along the way. After several unsuccessful attempts to overthrow other clans and take over that way, Scourge happened across another Guardian dragon named Fiona.

Dissatisfied by the pathetic attempts of her own clan to bolster their power and hoards through pandering and kowtowing to other clan's demands, Fiona had left to find a clan worthy of her. Impressed by Scourge's power and ferocity, she joined with him and the two founded a new clan together, falling in love with one another and becoming mates over their time finding a suitable place to build their lair.

Scourge still holds a huge grudge against his original clan and intends to return to destroy it someday with Fiona at his side. One day he will take his place as the King of All Flights and nothing will stop him from reaching that goal.
