Taluhla, born without parents as all Gen 1s are, places great stock in the rearing of young dragons who make Ravenfall their home. She has vowed to instill in them a sense of pride in themselves; teach them to be upstanding citizens, and be valuable assets to whatever clans they may travel to during their lifetimes. Her experience as a fledgling clan leader taught her well.

As a young matriarch, she accepted all dragons into her clan, regardless of temperament or background, however, that soon backfired when magical and precious items began disappearing. This treachery was not to be stood for and when the ragamuffin clansmen she had taken in denied their part in it, lying to her face even when given proof of their guilt, she banished them all.

Alone once more, Taluhla became a more cautious leader, demanding honesty and integrity from all who requested allegiance to Ravenfall. Those who are accepted must deem themselves worthy of her trust, though once they have done so, are welcomed with open arms. Her mate and head of guard is vigilant to protect their home and was selected for his trustworthiness and staunch support of her rulings.

Though she rules with an iron fist, her heart is soft and she often wonders about the ones she must turn away. Could she have changed their way of thinking? Shown them a better way to live? Or, would allowing them to remain simply ended in chaos and more deceit? She will probably never know.

Taluhla is a very kind-hearted dragon underneath her stern exterior. Ruling her clan takes a lot out of her and she spends what free time she has in the nursery, giving the hatchlings as much love and attention as she can. She’s not sure who gets the most out of this, the hatchlings or herself. She always tries to give extra attention to those, like herself, who have no parents or who have been abandoned to find their own way in life without the loving guidance of a mother and father.

When she must, Taluhla can be a formidable opponent on the battlefield. She spends several hours everyday training with her guards and perfecting her battle skills. Though it is not her favorite thing to do, she approaches her training with the same determination that she brings to every task required of her as the Honored Mother of her clan. Those who have fought at her side or have had the misfortune to cross swords and claws with her have referred to her as a force to be reckoned with.

Taluhla is a stern, yet humble leader; one that others trust and look to for assistance with their problems, big and small. She is respected and revered throughout The Sea of a Thousand Currents and has established quality alliances with others throughout Sornieth. Her communication skills are exceptional and leaders enjoy discussing the challenges of ruling their respective clans with her.

Though childless, Taluhla has plans to begin her own family one day. She has begun preparations by secretly designing and decorating a private nursery in her lair and choosing names for her offspring. For now, she has much to keep her busy with the clan, promoting trusted and experienced council members to royal positions as they show their loyalty to herself and the safety of their lands. Once she feels her attentions can be focused solely on her family, she will then settle down to her dream life of mothering her own royal offspring.
