Biography
Anteros
Clan Co-Head and Scholar
Not much is known of Anteros' past, the only one with answers could be his wife Tecla. But good luck trying to pry any information from the ferociously protective Guardian. Intelligent and soft, his personality surprisingly blends well with hers and they to use it to run a tight ship of a clan. Anteros oversees the hoard, lair space, and in-clan relations. Ever the diplomat, he uses a softer tone when speaking-enough to put the most aggressive dragon or miffed pair of hatchlings into a cowed state. So do not mistake his meekness as weakness. While many go to Tecla for a bone crushing hug or slam on the back, Anteros is no stranger to being a listener of the members. With no children of his own (through no upset to the pair), Anteros views the younger member's of the clan as his own-as does Tecla. Many of the older members were taken in as abandoned hatchlings.
Like many Pearlcatchers, his pearl is the single most important item of his, though the dragon often jokes Tecla is the true pearl in his eyes. One cannot speak of Anteros without the mention of his devotion to his partner. Despite that she often jokes how he must've dropped his pearl on his head to be in love with such a rough and torn up dragon like her. He would in turn, retort that her scales reflect the moon just as his pearl does, what small imperfections she thinks of mean nothing when he gazes upon her. What a romantic...?
He enjoys shiny pieces and Tecla is sure to gift him any she finds. They share citrine jewels-a symbol of love to each. His other items are also from her! Anteros seldom takes them off.
