History

Hatched in a small clan upon the Shattered Plain as the larger of two brothers, Watchstone was named for the hope that he would become the clan's guard when he grew up and he always took this calling very seriously. He, as well as his brother Kir, knew since a young age that their parents intended to leave as soon as the drakes were considered adults for fear of their kind's curse and Watchstone clung all the more to those that would stay with him instead. His brother first, and the rest of their clan second.

As the two young Imperials grew, however, Kir passed his brother in both length and sheer mass and Watchstone hoped that they would both get to guard their clan together. That was not to be. Soon after the brother's parents left, word came from the clan's priest that Kir was to leave for the Pillar of the World and enter Earthshaker's service. The brother would have none of it. Neither would part from their last remaining family and they would rather leave their home together than serve it apart.
