NAME MEANING - Expose to radiation

Bio - In the midst of the Bogsneak baby boom, the Plaguebringer grew bit envious of the Stormcatcher's new brood. Why should he have all the fun with the concoctions of the ex-Pearlcatcher's brew? Venoms and poisons where her specialty after all.

So she decided to have a little fun with the contents of the cauldron.

She took a clawtip of it and dropped into Her precious Wyrmwound. As the vile contents stirred, Bogsneak eggs began to form and be carried upon the shore by the tide. The Plaguebringer tended to her new children and within a week, red-eyed Bogsneaks radioactive to the bone hatched and set out across Sorienth to spread the Plague.

Irradiatus is a descendant of the Plaguebringer's mutation of Bogsneaks. For years, he wandered the Scarred Wasteland, fighting under Her banner, for Her honour and glory. One day, he met his match - a huge Guardian who nearly tore him apart for venturing onto his territory.

But Irradiatus did what all Plague dragons do: adapt and survive.

He followed this Guardian back to his place of dwelling and trained under him for many years - he would be nothing short of a source of pride for his Lady of Plague, but this new Guardian gave him quite the nice place to fold his wings...

He swore allegiance to the Guardian, keeping his heart with the Plaguebringer, always with the Plaguebringer. He received armour forged in the poisons of the Wyrmwound and a title as part of the King's Warriors. A force to be reckoned with, one bite or scratch from him will end in a terrible poisoning or, the more likely of the two, death by exsanguination.
