Piccolo
Entertainer
Mate of Cyca

Marbled Serpenta 27120753p.png

Piccolo has always found himself to be a generally happy fellow. He'd been through some awful things, but that didn't bring him down. Piccolo truly can't stand it when someone is sad, his specialty is cheering dragons up. He is the type of dragon that makes you laugh when you don't even think you can smile.
He is the mate of Cyca, and for the reason, you can almost always see a giant grin on her face. He loves her more than anything.
Piccolo's job isn't the most common, heck, it's not a common job amongst other lairs. He hangs around the hatcheries a lot, and you can find him there most days. The only thing that brings a smile to his face is bringing a smile to someone else's, or a very bad pun.

Lore

A dragon shook his head. He could not believe that he was being auctioned. He didn't love this feeling. 'Exalt me, gift me, do something! But not this.' he thought constantly. He was the only one amongst his hatch-mates who was auctioned, nobody seemed to want him. Sure, he was still in his hatch lair, but he was hardly paid attention to. He was without friends, without a mate... The dragon desperately wanted hatchlings, even if he was young. He would make sure they would never have to go through what he was going through right now.

After waiting for a while, there was news buzzing around in the lair. 'What's going on?' he asked the strange dragon that was stationed next to him. The dragon replied, "We got mail, that's all I really heard.." "Mail?" he asked. "We never get mail.." he muttered to himself. 'I wonder what it's about.'

Not long after, he was removed from the auction house. Startled that the clan leader would do such a thing, knowing that he was unwanted, left him curious. Why would she want him now? The clan leader picked him up, and put him in a place he'd never been in before. The last thing he heard from the lair when he was being to taken to this strange place was different cries of excitement. "Dude, he got so lucky!" "Bro, good luck!!" "Why him, not me??" "Being shipped out of the lair.. so young.." "Have fun strange dragonet!"
He had no idea what it meant, nobody really had ever paid attention to him. 'What is going on??' he asked himself. He was only a week old, he understood nothing, given no real education.

"Bye, dear." He heard. He didn't get it. Suddenly, he was whisked away from the only lair he'd ever known, the only dragons he'd ever met, and the only owner he'd ever had. It hit him harder than a train. 'Bye, I guess.' he thought, thinking she could hear him. The dragon had to fight the urge to cry, everything was being taken from him. He knew that it was going to happen, but maybe when he was two weeks, maybe three weeks old. In the blink of an eye, he was in a bright, new, comfy slot. The last one, in fact.

It was so weird. This was nothing like his own slot back in his own lair. This one was really bright. Really bright. He was only in this slot for so long, he was, without warning, moved to a new slot, where a strange black dragons waiting on his left.

"Oh, hello. I heard about you. Riptide's buzzing about a new Imperial in the den." Said the strange black dragon.
"R-Riptide? Who's that? Wha- what do you mean by, um, 'den'?"
"He's the clan leader, a pearlcatcher. He'll probably be bouncing about in your slot soon, wanting to meet you. He does this with every new dragon that comes along. Oh, and we call our lair the 'den'. Much more catchy if you ask me, even if it is slightly silly." The dragon rolled his eyes, imagining his clan leader. "No doubt they'll get along to naming you soon as well."
"As well?"
"Oh yeah. I'm new too. I'm Adriano, they named me not long ago. And since you don't have a name, I think I'll call you... Banana."
"Why Banana, err, Adriano? Is that gonna be my actual name?" He asked. He wanted a name so bad, he would even settle for a name like 'Banana'.
"No.." chuckled Adriano. "That's not up to me, Banana. It's up to the clan leaders and the owner. She gives pretty good names, I've been here long enough to know that." He was surprisingly still and serious for a young dragon. Banana, as they called him, guessed that he was about his age, so how on earth was he so calm? Was it a clan thing? He wouldn't know. What clan was Adriano from? Maybe it wasn't his clan.. were all imperials that serious? Ahh.. he didn't know.
"You're an incredibly curious fellow." Adriano stated blankly. Banana's head shot up.
"W-what? H-how...?"
"Oh, no, I can't read your mind. I can just see it on your face. I'm Arcane, if that's what you wonder. Dragons ask that a lot, for some reason. It's not like it really matters what clan I'm from, as long as we're in the den together."

Quick as a fox, Adriano put his ears forward, noticing something. He, without reason, started to crawl quietly into the shadows of his slot.
"Where are you going?"
"Riptide." He answered simply, but not answering the given question. "He's much too... excited all the time. If he asks, I am asleep." And with that, he was gone, hidden deep in his slot.

The only thing poor Banana processed before he was squashed by the immense weight of another dragon was a flash of blue.
"Ungh," he grunted, but it went unnoticed by the dragon on top of him. "Arg..?" he tried again, and received no response.
