Sorry is one of MelRune's long standing friends, who surprisingly has stood with them through it all, even the horrible change of characterand the surfacing of Lord Loss. One of two dragon companions that can calm Loss, He has even managed to get the beast joking once more - a glimmer of his old friend resurfacing each time they spend time with one another and hang out.
It's painful for him, to know he can't really help his friend as much as he would like too. But when the chittering hulk of muscle come over in a shaking heap and does nothing but hold his hand...he knows he is of some help after all.

Sorry thrives when laughter and smiles are commonplace, and is therefore a Gate Keeper into the clan. He is a great judge of character, and most that enter enter of good if not great friendly terms with the clan and Sorry himself!
But those who come seeking fights and arrogance - Sorry switches and shows the real reason why he is the gate keeper.

Pure unbridled strength.

His Defenses astound, and his hardiness and skill in a tussle is sudden and horrifying at best.
Simply put, do not mess with the gate keeper.

He has never killed though. He has always kept that rule unbroken. - give them a good 'iding and send them on their way. If they refuse to go - make them.

He is also such an incredibly proud parent to Tolkien, often found bragging and being number #1 embarrassing dad around Tolkien, they have a magnificent relationship, even though they both still terribly miss Myka, Sorry's first bonded mate and best friend. Upon entering the plague lands - Myka was already unwell, and deteriorated. Sorry and Myka - with the last of their children Tolkien, they remained in arcane lands in hopes the magic would make her better. They tried everything - but Myka went from one of the strongest Dragons of the coven - the original leader of the centurions and master to Searchlight, to a shaking crippled form. But she always smiled, always made Tolkien laugh and taught that boy so much - and how to accept her coming death with grace.

Sorry tried ships best, but was distraught. Myka demanded being back with her home - her clan, and on Sorry's back, he brought her home to the coven. Surrounded by friends, family, pupils and teach smiles.

The plagueBringer took her some days later.

He hid behind more laughter, friendliness - but on the days and nights he grows weak and no laughter in all of the land could cheer him up. His beautiful, amazing son sits with him and shushes him.

He is truly blessed to have such a great son.

Those closest to him know that even now, so many years after the death of Myka, he is still sore and recovering. Better than he was, he is no longer a quivering mess alone. And as of the 4th Rockbreakers festival, he came across another Ridgeback who - blow for blow, matched him wit and humors, whilst also being a strong and determined woman.

Currently he's scared of the feeling he has in his chest, unsure wether or not it would be ok to love again, but regardless of how his brain works, he cannot deny that the Pirate Freya has stolen his heart with her wicked charms and snorting laughter.

Tolkien and the others are incredibly happy for Sorry to finally be moving on, and Tolkien knows within his heart of hearts, His mother would be happy too.

Myka survived long enough to watch the sane Melrune make their son, Tolkien - the lore keeper of the clan.

Sorry and Myka were never prouder.

But what the others do not know, is that the plagueBringer did not take Myka. Sorry ended her pain upon request. Tears, choked back sobs and even a small amount of shared laughter was shared between the two before she left her life in Sorry's hands.

His strong, beautiful, wonderful wife did not deserve to die lying in her own filth.

She died beneath the stars of their arcane home, in His arms and wings - loved.

Sorry was my first ever 'Expensive' (back then 20kt was big!)purchase and first ever Ridgeback, And he was the reason my love for Ridgebacks grew!
He's been clown and eyespots since day one, and as thanks for him being my favourite guy, he has some gene projects to do!
I put toxin on him JUST before skink and spinner came out -doh! So here's how I hope he ends up !
