In a clan where plenty of dragons enjoy standing in the spotlight, Nisha is content to stay backstage. This shy Coatl rarely ventures from the deepest caverns of the Bluff, where she is content to spend her time with the familiars that she treasures. All animals are equal in her eyes, from sprites to podids, and she ensures that they are all treated well. It is her duty to assign familiars to dragons to bond with, and it is a task she takes very seriously. It may take her as much as a month to pair a familiar with a dragon, but the clan never grows impatient with her. She is one of the sort who can be trusted to do her best with any job, and the clan has learned to have faith in her. In this way they have also learned to respect her privacy, which Nisha holds most dearly; her life is one of peaceful seclusion, and this is how she has always preferred it. The chattering and squawking of her animals companions are the only conversations she requires to feel fulfilled. Of the dragons in the clan, Nisha is by far the most sympathetic to the beastclan cause. She has listened to the beastclan allies of the clan and knows more about them than she knows about most dragons. Kyrr, her Wildclaw partner, is the only dragon that Nisha sees frequently. He is just as reclusive as she, and the only dragon with which she shares her secret talent of poetry. The subjects of her poems vary- most are odes to various members of her flock of familiars, although many center around other natural themes. The one thing they all have in common is that they are written in the evening, Nisha's favorite time of day and the point at which the buzz of clan life begins to quiet down. It is in this time that Nisha feels the most at ease, and from her peace with the world flows burgeoning artistic talent. |

The barren cliffs of the Fulgurite Bluffs offer few hiding places, but deep within the centuries-old layers of stone lies a complex tunnel network in which even the most keen of dragons may find themselves lost. This is exactly what happened to Nisha when a fierce storm destroyed her previous home and forced her to seek shelter in the territory of Thunderbolt's clan. But she was not easily frightened, and simply wandered through the tunnels until she found a place in which she felt at peace- the bestiary, where countless familiars ran amok in relatively cramped conditions. By the time a guard found her, she had made friends with almost all of them and was curled in the corner chatting with the longnecks, nekomatas purring in her talons and chimeras curled up against her. The guard was startled, but recognizing that this gentle Coatl posed no threat, brought her to Thunderbolt to decide what to do. The clan leader was quick to recognize her aptitude with animals as an asset, and offered her a new home in the clan. Since then, Nisha has mostly kept to herself and the beasts of the clan, improving their living quarters and teaching them to be comfortable around dragons.
