Sharper than a bright tack and twistier than a bent spiral, Mystfell emerged one night from within the depths of the Foxfire Brambles, and stayed. He is the embodiment of the territory's denizens and its environs. As the moon waxes and wanes, so too does he change with the rise and fall of the flight. It is whispered that he will remain, ever-shifting and ever-watching, until the flight is no more, after which he will return into the Shadowbinder's embrace.

He is capricious, whimsical and delights in puzzling others. Darkness trails in his footsteps, shrouding his presence against all but those with the brightest of wit and most gimlet of gazes. Travellers and dwellers of the shadowlands may find themselves bestowed with ambiguous advice, often buried deep within riddles. While there is often an air of impish glee about him as would-be questers struggle to solve his conundrums, Mystfell derives greatest enjoyment from watching those who not only find the answer, but also manage to show him some interesting sights in the process.

Syzygy may be the clan's shadow, but Mystfell is the heart.

Arrived as an Imperial, but then promptly grew floof. One wonders what that says about this flight.

It is not known why Mystfell's eyes seem to resemble that of those who swear allegiance to the Icewarden, despite him being firmly rooted in the shadows. Some say it is the moonlight forever reflected in his gaze, allowing him to glimpse secrets which the Shadowbinder only shares with the worthiest of tricksters. Others mutter that perhaps the insidious influence of the Fortress of Ends has already taken hold, even this deep within the Tangled Woods, and is gradually turning the flight's heart towards the frozen south.

"Y'know how when you say that something has character, but you actually mean it's uglier than a speckled freckle? Well, this flight definitely has a character, and don't let him overhear that."
