Biography

Callidus is the resident seer of the clan, though nobody is sure how clear or accurate her visions are. Callidus herself never clarifies anything she says and her speech is naturally mixed with dry sarcasm, double meanings and hyperbole. Her dearest friend is Conscientia, who she thinks of as a little sister, though she is most often seen associating with Gratia and Aurora (however the three of them tease each other so ruthlessly that outsiders think they're arch-rivals rather than friends). She is often exasperated by her mate, Irides's, vain behavior, though she'll be damned before letting anyone insult him in her presence. Despite being in similar trades, she doesn't get along with Gorn at all, and sees her as a vile nuisance at best and a dangerous opponent at worst. Callidus and Gorn keep their ill-intentions below simmering in order to avoid Venatrix's anger, but both have noticed that they are being closely watched by Nigrum, and are rather bitter about it.
