Tyren, the lantern bearer.
the only person to escape from hiccup's grasp and be able to lead others to escape.
He is the one thing Hiccup cannot have and the one thing Hiccup wants above all. He will be hers or he will be no ones. A sentiment Tyren is not so fond of.
because of his regular escapades into Hiccup's realm in attempts to save others she's trapped he's aged more than some others but remains ageless in other ways. His appearance is that of an older man because of what Hiccup's realm has managed to alter in him.
- he's adopted by Istelli, who he is younger than but appearance wise he looks older than them.
- keeps Fate with him when he can. He has hideouts in the Hollow that he houses her in when he has to leave the Hollow (and Fate cannot follow him).
