Glade

Daughter of Felix and Hesperos, Glade was a very shy hatchling. The little green dragon spent most of her time amongst the tall reeds, collecting earthy smelling herbs and colorful flowers and presenting them to her mother. As her love and knowledge for all things green grew, so did her personality. She bloomed into a spritely, energetic dragon, known for her cleverness and kindness. Years of darting to and fro between trees has made her as quick and spry on her feet as she is in the air. During expeditions with the clan, she is prized for her ground speed and foraging expertise.

Her lair is at at the edge of clan territory, where the wind blown reeds turn into a towering forest. One can smell her lair before they see it, as the scent of her hoard of herbs and flowers drifts on the breeze. Lush vines adorned with golden yellow flowers tangle upward around the entrance, acting as a green curtain. The inside is littered with small pots of dried herbs, bouquets of flowers, and an array of watering cans and kettles. From the ceiling hangs bundles of fragrant herbs, drying to be prepared for teas and medicine.

Glade met her familiar as a juvenile dragon. During her first trek into the Viridian Labyrinth in search of rare herbs, she heard the crying of a small beast. Upon investigating, she found a baby Timber Tender with it's tiny limbs entangled in a mess of black thorns. After coaxing the thorns off the tiny beast, she cleaned its wounds with a salve she'd made herself. During the rest of her excursion through the Viridian Labyrinth, the small bear tumbled through the foliage after her. He has since made his life-long home with her, content to assist her in foraging and other quests.
