  • Equinox, a child born of the Runic Accent Clan, discovered his runic abilities on the very eve of a harvest moon.
  • As the Hatcher clan prepared for the harvest festival, a small shadow of a dragon approached unnoticed by the festivals inhabits. Curiosity had brought the dragon down from the runic clan and as he watched, silent awe evident in his eyes, a blood red moon began to crest along the horizon overshadowing a field of pumpkins. The red and orange hues that flowed over the Dragons gathered set his tai lashing in excitement.
  • As if triggered by the sight alone, the runes along his side began to grow brightly and before anyone truly realized what was happening, it was as if each pumpkin had come to life. They grow with a vibrant light, stems twisting upwards into intriguing patterns. Even the pumpkins that had previously uprooted for decoration seemed to regain their luster, sprouting little buds as the moon's light consumed the fair. The joyous roars of those gathered could be heard from miles around.
  • When all was said and done Equinox was approached by Jale, current acting leader of the Hatcher clan. "You've done us a great service, in mind and body. This year was hard, our moral alarmingly low. But what you did has brought back our spark, little ember. You have made our time worth while and have guaranteed the little ones a full belly for time to come. Would you perhaps like to stay a little longer?"
  • And so, Equinox took up permanent residence at the Hatcher clan. Every year sinse his adulthood this joyous fellow has been charged with organizing and leading the Harvest Festive and ensuring everyone who attends leaves with a smile.
  • Though raising pumpkins still remains his top job, Equinix's power of harvest extend into the field. He has helped the Hatcher clan survive many a cold winters when the ice had frozen their waters and has gained quite the following amongst the youngsters.
