Orkos

Orkos and Askja came to the clan as a pair.

Orkos was part of a wealthy family, but they were not well-liked. She was a beauty loved by many. As an imperial from an old and reputable family, she had many choices in suitors. However, she didn't really like any of them. She turned them all down. It was not out of pompousness, she didn't think herself too good for them, her heart simply belonged to another. Askja, who has been her bodyguard since they had been young was her truest love. It was a secret and forbidden love, both in class and gender.

One of the suitors grew angry with his rejection, he concocted a plan to rid Orkos of her beauty and perceived snobbishness. He poisoned her drink, and she was transformed from mighty imperial into small and lowly bogsneak. Orkos saw nothing wrong with this, after she got over the shock. She was still her, and she was still beautiful. Askja thought the same. Orkos's family, however, did not. They banished her, for she was a disgrace to their family. Better to get her out of sight then start rumors. They had plenty of others after all.

Orkos is confident, but not arrogant. She knows herself very well and is not afraid to advocate for herself, or speak up if she sees something is amiss. She's kindhearted, but sometimes a bit blunt.

Askja and Orkos left to start a new life, and joined up with Ledai's clan after hearing word of their hospitality.
