The coatl smiled at the pile of Smooth Pebbles by her feet. It was her first day of the Trident Trials, and she wanted to visit the river in the Wind territory. She scooped a talonful of them into her satchel. They felt very smooth from the river water that eroded it into perfection, and made a nice sound when they hit each other. She heard from other dragons who made it into the Coral Clan by trying to find the greatest treasures, but with their adolescent experience, they could only find trinkets and food items that couldn't even feed themselves! Rhodochrosite felt differently. She wanted to pick up whatever she felt like. The Trident Trials didn't feel like a test, but more of a field trip out into the wilderness.

Next, Rhodochrosite traveled to Redrock Cove. Partially hidden in the sand was a vial of Noxious Coralclimber Toxin. She opened up the vial carefully to peek at the contents, but had to immediately close it. The fumes smelled terrible and left a burning sensation. She shook her head to rid herself of the odor, snorting. Maybe this thing can be used in alchemy? She placed it in her satchel and hoped it doesn't crack against the pebbles.

Rhodochrosite shugged. nonchalantly. A Ragged Skirmisher Scrap? Who cares. She stuffed the item in her satchel. This didn't matter to her, that she had just the same luck as everyone else. This just means that she wouldn't be singled out for being unusually good at survival right off the bat. She coughed lightly. The Arena was quite dusty, and she needed to get out of here. Her shimmering rose wings unfurled and she glided out of the battle venue. There's always more than one opportunity to look out for, and she'll be the first to claim it.

Rhodochrosite is seen by the others in the Coral Clan as an aloof dragon, if not slightly optimistic. She's not completely focused on the present, but not because she's thinking to herself, but because if it's not something she should be immediately worried about, she doesn't need to do anything about it.

However, this does not mean that she is brainless or simple. She has a great mind for looking out for advantages and opportunities, and is skillful in seizing them. While she's a waterborn, she chose to become the clan's Arcane Representative because she always liked the mana crystals that grow in the area and the Arcane flight's love for observing the world around them.
