Alwen came to the came from her birth clan to explore the world, when she was young she often viewed the species of dragon kind to be young and naive to the world underneath their wings. She holds the idea that their species was not meant to be brought into existences yet that their time came too soon and that those that inhabited the world previously was snuffed out too soon. She thinks that while they were to be brought in to inhabit the new world at some point, they came too soon due to an event and things are out of order. The world is not ready for their arrival but she thinks that they can make it ready. How she achieves this is that since she is magically gifted, she carves out areas and shifts landscapes to make it suitable for both dragon and animal habitation. She spends a huge amount of time carving out the landscape to make it more habitable then it already is as well as more efficient.

She was chosen to be the Earth sage by Avani when she saw Alwen working her magic, reshaping the landscape and reintroducing the animals and plants in spots that would not only benefit them but dragons who wish to live around those areas. Avani saw promise in her vision in that with her skills and magic that the world they can create would be a future they could attain together.

Alwen is driven but she is also very insightful and could see the bigger picture and what actions will bring about what. She is consulted for this very reason and why she is valued among the Sages as they meet and commune with Avani on what actions to take that could benedit the clan or updates and events that affected the clan in anyway.
