Examines and charts the shifting patterns of the sky and stars, as well as predicts coming storms and weather changes.

About

Novu is a serene Snapper who has always felt the most at home under the night sky. He keeps a nocturnal sleep schedule so that he can spend his waking hours charting the stars. He is close with the Nocturnes who guard the Clan's borders at night, and he often relieves their boredom with new discoveries and imaginings of worlds beyond the stars. While his astronomical interest began as a simple hobby, his tenacity has drawn interest from scholars, artists, and leaders across the Clan, and he now makes a living as the Clan's Stargazer.

He spends the early part of the evening with his mate, a Fae named Chori, just after he wakes up and before she goes to sleep. If she is not too tired, she sometimes joins him when he ventures out to look at the stars. His familiar is a particularly mellow Dunewind Manticore called Mila, who cries out when it sees shooting stars. Most of the time, however, it simply tucks itself under Novu's legs as he takes his notes for the night.

His most prized possession is a traveler's runestone which he recovered from a still-smoldering meteor crash site, and his favorite food is Redstreak Frilled Eel.

His former familiars include a Chromefeather Lookout named Phim.
