Clan Ally

On the boarder of two nation there is a swath of thicket that none dare enter. Unless, of course, dared to.

No one is sure when the legend began but everyone can agree that the tale may be tall but not fictitious. If one can get passed the thicket, quicksand, and the hellish marsh into the center of these woods, there will be a clearing within. A picturesque location; light filtering through the canopy, the pond while not clear is still and calm, and in it is a large rock that creates a false island.

This is what those who are not dared travel to witness. The stone is an eerie sight. Though no one is for certain why, it simply is. Not terribly so, just skewed enough to give off unease. That stone is the only wild card to this hatchlings tale. Some say it grants wishes, others claim youth, dragons of eons will tell that the stone should not be discussed. It is better left where it lay.

Most do not make it that far. The stone is protected – knowingly or not – by a Monster.

It has lived in these woods since it can recall. For years it lived, watching the strangers like it wander in then flee out as it approached. The problem may be that it can not make those sound that they do. Others think its cries are shrieks and its greeting warnings.

Gulliver is the only one who knows the small Fae behind the myth and he shall never tell. For many years he tried to convince Monster that it was a she and a dragon but the Fae's mind was too far gone to comprehend. He manged to teach it the basics of communication and it does leave its terrible home on occasion to help Gulliver's clan, making it a honorary member.
