______ Divinorum, named after an unassuming member of the mint species. The plant is hallucinogenic and has historically been used by shamans to achieve altered states of consciousness. The effects are intense but short-lived and include changes in mood and body sensations, visions, feelings of detachment, and altered perceptions of self. The herb is incredibly useful for herbalists, shamans, seers and also in the medical area the plant is frequently used. The plant, however, can additionally be quite dangerous.

______ A few immediate effects of ingesting this plant are: Past memories, such as revisiting places from childhood memory, sensations of motion, being pulled or twisted by forces, overlapping realities, such as the perception of being in several locations at once. Needless to say, not so pleasant for the inexperienced.

______ Divinorum and the Salvia herb have developed a mutualistic relationship, both organisms benefit from each others company. The plant is allowed to stay and progress on Divinorum's body, while Divinorum himself enjoys the protection and usefulness it provides.
