"All the most unlikely things loom in the horizon..." ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Her name means, literally, "Blue Moon", and she stands true to it. A one-of-a-kind, rare Imperial, Lan Yueliang is a daughter of lightning whose magic aligns a lot better with water, but she cares little about the affairs of this world, divine or not. Her eyes are usually turned towards the horizon or the moon itself, with the kind of gaze the wanderers and poets have, looking for answers. Lan Yueliang speaks only in metaphors and riddles, sometimes ominous, so it's unclear what she sees. But given that gift of the ethereal she has, the Blue Moon Imperial has decided to travel the world, looking for knowledge, friendships, and the true mysteries of both the physical plane and the spirit and dream ones... |

Wandering in to the forest she met a pearlcatcher that looked like the night sky. She guided her to her home lair. There they became friends. Yet one day she was overwhelmed with longing for something more. She wanted to see the world. But she also didn't want to hurt her friend. And so, when her new friend was sleeping, she ran away. As one last farewell Lan gave her a letter. ~Melova (full story) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Tragedy can befall even the most careful adventurers. Almost as soon as her adventure had begun, the imperial almost saw it, and her life, end. The snowstorm was all encompassing, and to a dragon unfamiliar with the Icefield, it was deadly. Yan awoke some time later- Months later, she discovered. "You should dress warmer!" Her savior, an old pearlcatcher, told her after she'd thawed out, "Glad you're alive, though! Must be something real special about you." She found it thorugh a Fae named Itan who was out flying amongst the night sky. She stood out with her red scales, but she didn't care. Her lantuern familar floated with her throguh the air. Once Itan had settled on a rock, Yan approached. They quickly hit it off as they told each other tales of the night sky from where they had seen it. As the sun began rising after a long talk through the night, Itan offered Yan a place to rest and fill her stomach. Lan Yueliang agreed and met many other dragons. There was one who seemed to hold a lot of the knowledge of the clan. She was drawn toward Antique who told her the stories of this clan, the stories of travelers come and gone. She revealed the clans lore to Lan. This revalation made her nervous but also curious. She decided to leave for the time being, saying to return to uncover more.- ConfusedKing ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ She’d barely hiked half a kilometer into Light territory when she met him; He was a mirror, rather disquieting with his basig genes and hapazard swamp-rust-whatever colors, but something about him drew her in. Later, she’d come to regret the meeting and be happy it was over, but at that moment, she sat down with him to share dinner. His name, he told her, was Tryfagglar the Snoop, an honorary title he’d gotten from his former clan, before he’d been exiled for the same reason as he carried said name. “I was a critical journalist. Well, I’ll have you know that I visited the Stormcatcher’s machinery oodles of times, and I never saw any of those disappeared hatchlings working there. So, I did what any reasonable dragon would,” he chuckled, “I wrote to the Stormcatcher to have his attention drawn to this fraud. Next thing I know, I’m out on my ears, and now I have to seek refuge in other Flights, because my former clan lead spread rumors about me.” “So you’re a whistleblower, then?” “Yeah, but listen here...” he leaned a bit closer, “sometimes I still see them. The hatchlings. The Mirrors,” he specified, “they try to speak to me, but all I hear is static, and they are... they are like the flickering images of half-broken monitors. I think they gone gotten stuck in a subdimensional pocket. It could happen to any of us.
