A dragon born in the Ice Flight, Ortoros always felt as if he never belonged. Although he often struggled through the frigid tundra, his solid white colors helped him to blend into the snow. Despite this, Ortoros couldn't help but feel like an outcast in his own clan, realizing many of his clanmates looked at his unusual genes like a curse, perhaps he was shade touched? Eventually growing tired of the continuous persecution for his appearance Ortoros left his clan, wanting to create one of his own where any dragon was welcome regardless of their appearence.

Setting out on his own journey accross Sornieth, Ortoros eventually reached the Foxfire Bramble, meeting Skadi, a soft-spoken wanderer. Skadi agreed to show Ortoros through Shadow territory as to help him avoid the dangers of the brambles. However, during their travels, Ortoros realized that he didn't need to leave, he was where he belonged. Sure, he stuck out against the dark scenery but he found the Shadow Flight oddly calming and there was his new companion that he'd become smitten with, this was her home and he would make it his too.

This became Ortoros' first fledgling steps into becoming a Clan Leader, along with a family of his own with his beloved.

With his goofy antics, Ortoros attracted many outcast dragons who felt as if they had no home where they truly belonged. Settling in comfortably with his new mate Skadi, their daughter Moonbeam, Ortoros aims to keep his dream alive and build the biggest and most welcoming clan the Shadow Flight has ever seen.

Ortoros spends his days mingling with other dragons in the clan and making sure newcomers feel welcome, giving them tours of the clan. Often times, when not doing that, he can be found training his son and daughter how to use their magic or seen with his mate in a secluded area of brambles near a pond. Ortoros enjoys spending time with his family, as well as his clan (sometimes calling them his family in the process), and planning ways to expand and helping build new homes.

Ortoros is often held in high regard by his fellow clanmates, yet many are truly unaware of the lengths he's willing to go if it means his newfound family would be safe. In more shadowed areas he's been called a mastermind, weaving together a lengthy line of communication to a more dangerous settlement that takes it's claim in the sky. A shady Skydancer is the only one privy to the true nature of their conversations...but most can be rest assured, Ortoros does it all for the greater good.
