"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing." Vistley was once the guard for a group of ambassadors from the Scarred Wasteland, journeying in the Labyrinth on their way to build relations between clans of the opposed flights. Unfortunately for her, bureaucracy did her a disservice. The confident dragons in the travelling embassy were insulted that they were assigned a guard, feeling they could take care of themselves just fine, thank you. While her back was turned on them, they ganged up on Vistley, slashing at her until she fell to the ground, then running off with a snicker. Not one to give up easily, she got up and prepared to walk it off. But she knew she wanted no part of that envoy anymore. After days of walking through the foreign jungle, Vistley came across Calabura, who was having trouble with Proto Manticores harassing her and one of her gardens. Vistley helped to chase them off, to Calabura's delight. The Tundra INSISTED that Vistley must have some tea with her, and meet her mate, and her friend, and her other friend, and the Fae they look after.... With no where else for her to go, Calabura suggested Vistley move into the Den. There's always have room for more dragons, she said! However, the Nature dragons, especially Prennia, were not keen on the idea. Prennia outright refused, making the first time she had ever turned away a possible new member. It took Dubane and Felidae having a heart-to-heart with her to make her reexamine her prejudices and get her to accept a Plague dragon. In the time since, Prennia has regretted her initial actions and is trying to make amends. Vistley still feels resentful, and has a strained relationship with many of the Nature dragons. She became Basque and Cloudskimmer's apprentice, joining them on their adventures to gather valuables and forge new paths. After a slightly awkward period of an extra dragon tagging along and getting over a slight communication barrier, the three began to work wonderfully together. Vistley is very glad to have them as mentors and friends. She hopes her experience can make her strong enough to stand up for herself if she ever finds herself in another dire situation. |
