Walnut

Walnut is a usually unpleasant dragon when it comes with trying to understand the new generations of hatchlings, so many try to avoid him to keep away from his judgement. His glare is often seen as condescending, but also alluring as some may say.


Many can't remember why he became solemn but many heed his orders as wise statements, and never questions much of his whereabouts. You can't be fooled by those with a majestic coat of purple.


His closest companion is Peanuts, as stories say that he disappears to speak with his long term friend but no one ever presses him on the matter as true, as no one ever sees the two together in person. The reason for this is because Peanut is the one that accepted him into the lair first and gave him the opportunity to be someone greater, but fears that if he doesn't talk to Peanut every now and then and reminds Peanut surely he would forget about Walnut. Nothing hurts more than no longer being special to the person you admire, after all.


He bickers with Coconut who complains that he doesn't watch over any of his hatchlings, whereas Walnut counterargues that she is a failure of a great dragon for wanting to teach hatchlings to read. The obscurity that these two have! It doesn't help that his own son, Almond, would much rather garden than fight with his old man, leaving Walnut to consult more with his old-time friend instead.
