~ O R I G I N S ~

Shanus is about as odd as they come.
Twitchy and squirrelish in nature, he's overly-defensive and easy to startle, although not easy to sneak up on.

Born to a small clan living in underground caves deep below the surface of Sornieth, Shanus can only hesitantly be called a dragon. Whether his people are mutated dragons, strangely evolved beastclan creatures, or something else entirely nonterrestrial, the only thing that can be said for certain is that they are Strange.

With slippery joints, and lots of hidden tricks to defend themselves, they are a clan of survivors. Hidden away and preferring to avoid the world above rather than interacting with it. However, they are beginning to dwindle in number.

~ S H A N U S ~

Shanus was forced from home when their caves were invaded by strange outsiders with malicious intent. It has been quite a long time since that fateful day, and Shanus has long since come to terms with the loss of their family and has developed a steely resolve when it comes to facing the challenges of the Above world.

A thief and a mercenary, Shanus passed through the clan SedAhrkMen between jobs. Convinced by parties left unnamed that this was the place they needed to be, Shanus decided to stay, plying his trade on an "as needed" basis to the other residents, but most frequently at the whim of Surtr and her underlings.

Time will tell if Shanus will ever decide to leave again, although at current it seems unlikely.
What many mysteries and secrets Shanus has to tell is also unknown, but perhaps one day he will share with the world what he knows.
