Lunaira was born in the Starfall Isles and has lived there all her life- and her heart has always belonged to the Arcane flight. Soon after she was born she left her family to work at a temple devoted mostly to the Arcanist, but also to other deities. Lunaira grew up in the temple, working as a shrine maiden and taking care of the temple. Among the other priestesses, she received a very thorough education in magic, science, mathematics, and other things. She spent much of her time engrossed in scrolls and reading, as well as researching magic and astrology.

As she grew older, she traveled throughout Sornieth with other priests, journeying to the lands of other flights and learning about their ways of doing things. Time went on and Lunaira eventually became one of the senior priestesses of the temple. But as life there went on, the Pearlcatcher felt that she had another calling. She bid goodbye to the temple and wandered throughout the Starfall Isles until the day she met Krystal. When she learned of Krystal's goal in founding a clan, to develop a group of dragons who were given the freedom to develop their own skills and talents to create a multifaceted society, Lunaira eagerly joined the Pleiades System Clan.

You know what's funny? Her mate, Vasuki, arrived at Pleiades System only a few weeks later- and he was a dragon Lunaira knew. A while ago, she had been sent to investigate an incident, a large emanation of magic that had caused an explosion in the countryside. Vasuki had been the cause of that, and Lunaira had hated him at first, and he despised her. They parted on... well, let's just say they did not part as friends. Somehow- and this is still a mystery to their clanmates- they are now mates. Strange how things work out sometimes...

Lunaira is the oldest dragon residing in the caves of Pleiades System. As such, she is the wisest and has the most life experience of them all. She is a part-time tutor for the hatchlings and dragons who wish to pursue their interests in more intellectual or magic-focused fashions, though most of the time that is Krystal's job. Lunaira spends most of her time practicing her magic and doing research, as well as seeking out more knowledge. She is an extremely intelligent dragon, having grown up surrounded by scrolls, and is extremely knowledgeable and clever. However, due to the isolated nature of her childhood in the temple, she is cripplingly shy and almost painfully socially awkward. Lunaira is a pious, gentle dragon, but she is not one to be messed with- she is the most powerful mage in the clan, bar only Krystal the matriarch. Lunaira is a powerful opponent in any battle with a vast repertoire of spells and ancient magics within her grasp, though she is a little bit lacking in the physical side of fighting. Of course, despite her fearsome magical power, she is not someone to be feared- more like respected. She is quiet, sincere and wise, and one would do well to learn from her.
