Hubert

Born as a Guardian dragon in the lands of Plague, Hubert wasn't quite built for the lifestyle his clan was leading. His magic was wildly unstable, so his family made the choice to put him in the care of what would later become the Aviary clan. There, Sirius, at that time an aspiring magician, conducted a challenging transmutation and refitted Hue's body to that of a Fae, which helped stabilize Hubert’s magic and allowing him to grow up healthy. The fae still had some issues; he is primarily nonverbal and often suffers from hallucinations. Probably due to old Guardian instincts, Hubert is very fond of Sirius and never really leaves him. The feeling is mutual, and the Head Magician is very protective of the plague dragon. They are often near one another, each doing their own thing - Hubert, for one, has taken up textile crafts. Uneven, lopsided but lovingly made plushies, garments and… mystery items?.. appear around the library and Sirius’ study, but for once he doesn’t complain much about the mess.
