Rhodonite’s talent as the guardian of the forest is granted from the fact that from the age of a hatchling, she was trained day in and day out. With skills in both healing and melee combat, she was truly a force to be reckoned with.

With her Sapling Speaker at her side she excelled, the two of them bouncing off one another for encouragement, and their abilities. Separate they were a force in their own right, but together they were deadly to any that would oppose their loved ones.

Seen as cold she used the presumption to her favor, using a mask of aloofness with a stern exterior, though only to her loved ones did she truly reveal her colors. Her heart was as soft as she was with her family and familiar, as her armor dug deeper than in physical terms alone.

It was her family that eventually became her downfall, as a previously trusted friend ---- a member of the Fire Clan took her Sapling Speaker from her during battle against rogue dragons ---- running off with the familiar, a searing touch leaving a scar upon the bark of it’s back. With time leaves would sprout from the ruined bark, covering up the pain that the dragon inflicted.

That was when Rhodonite truly became a deadly guardian, using her betrayal as fuel for the flames of battle. While strong before she became a natural disaster, both her and her Sapling becoming even stronger with self training for vengeance. They keep an eye out for that former friend of a dragon, just waiting for the day they can teach him to not betray them once more.
