Merill is known for her mild nature... In fact, though many would consider her to be second just to Kai in kindness, Kai herself and Myka would consider her second to none. With very similar ways to see life, it wasn't a surprise that the trio would get along so well. Merry, as she was also called, was one of the dragons that had hybernated for so long in the Icewarden. Though she didn't dislike her old family, she couldn't remember liking them enough to stick around... and when Myka suggested to go to the new lair, it seemed too interesting to pass. Though everyone commended Kai on her kindness, Merry was always hearing on how she shouldn't be giving away too much. The thing is, Kai knew she had to be kind, but also stern at times, Myka was kind only when deserved, but Merry? She was just kind. No was hardly ever in her vocabulary, she even agreed to date the one dragon in the lair that annoyed everyone else. She didn't even try to give him up when he started to make her uncomfortable, Myka had to intervene. Then why is she considered second to Kai in kindness? Well, it is simple. Kai knows when to scold... but she is kind scolding. Merry wouldn't know, so she makes people want to protect her. So, people would rather look for Kai, instead of Merry, though she could never be considered an outcast. Everyone loved her, just in a different way than Kai. About her mates... After Myka managed to find an overdue new lair for the rock in their path, it was really hard to find Merry another one. She didn't have anything in mind for herself, she wouldn't even care if their children were blend, she would love then anyway (Lamda cared very much, though, and wouldn't let that happen). After much deliberation between Lam, Myka and Kai, with minor worries of Lynfa on the budget, they set their eyes on an autumnal boy. Their personalities seemed to match, and he didn't look like he would take advantage of her, of fawn on her too much. Hopefully they weren't wrong. But, if they were, Myka would make sure to correct it. |
