Tourmaline

When her mother, Professional, had laid her egg among her siblings she had discussed their hatchlings possible appearances with Tourmaline's father, Fatalburn. She knew they'd be some variant or orange, for primary and secondary, and very shiny. She was very worried about their Tertiary Genes, however. She was slightly ashamed of her underbelly, she didn't think it was very attractive. She knew nobody could pull off Thylacine, except Fatalburn because he was all one color, and she was worried that the combination of antique underbelly and sunshine thylacine might make very strange hatchlings. She hoped they wouldn't have to invest in teritiary gene removal scrolls once their hatchlings hatched.

When they did, she was right. Tourmaline and her four siblings had thylacine in varying colors. And nearly immeadiately Aspidiske, Bliss, Einsley, and Dominic were exalted. Tourmaline, who was about to be as well, was adopted by our clan where she, at a later date, met her mate Carnelian.
