Biography

Adrika was padding through ghostly ruins, unsure. Something wasn't right about this place. She cannot hide her shimmering form very well, the royal smoky markings moving with her nervous steps as she examined the forgotten relics that lay around.

"Are you sure that we won't have any unwanted visitors?" She asked the other ridgebacks. One of them replied evenly.
"Few others dare to come here. Superstition can be quite persuasive, amongst other flights."

With this in mind, she blew some dust off of the writings on the door. Then, with gentle talons, she opened the huge stone door that lead to this great castle of thousand year age. The procession of spikey drakes flowed through into the darkness. It was quite, but for the scraping of the door. So, once inside, they were all swallowed up by a haunting feeling. Creepy is the name of the shadow realm game, and these ruins lived up to those standards. Adrika took her time examining things in the dark, using her naked eye in the waning light. It wasn't easy at all.

She brought several items together in a dark room. They had split up for the sake of efficiency, and now she was regretting it. No one nearby knew a brightness spell of any sort. She was on her own.

In the darkness, she gently closed her claws around the items. Her tail swept through a pile of dust as she turned to the threshold leading back into the main hall, but that was when she heard it. Something like a whisper in the darkness, followed by the flicker of light like a spark. She narrowed her eyes and gazed into the shadows, curious.

The light grew, and grew... until the ethereal flames lit up the form of a large, undulating candelabra. She gasped and approached, fascinated by the shimmering thing.

"We wait in here, to light the way... if you prefer, with you I will stay."

The ridgeback acknowledged the glowing thing with a nod of her head, recognizing it as a beast of magic and taming. "Yes, friend. I would like that."
