Ankou is a mage. He lives at the base of the mountain in a hut with his friend, Beatrice. Under the watchful eye and stern tutelage of Actaeon, Ankou is learning the ways of the mage. He showed an early aptitude for fire and poison magic, and that has become his focus.

Fire magic is an important in the mountains, as wood is often scarce.

Poison magic is less useful to a clan, but certain poisons are used in the manufacture of spells, and the clan wizards often come to Ankou to refill their stocks.
