Role: Head Arena Trainer
Qualities: heroic, soft-hearted, brave
Aeolus is a brave and adventurous soul from the city of Piraeus in the northwest. An very populous and economically prosperous city, Piraeus is under the ruling family with Aeolus as their personal trustee and friend of the Governor. Aeolus knows much about the society and social interactions within the city and lived as one of the people, remembering almost every dragon by name. The family would often use this knowledge to take advantage of the people, an unfortunate crime-ridden population.
Unfortunately this Governor was cruel and treated the city dragons poorly. He overtaxed them and had starving thieves beaten almost to the death. He constructed a wall to separate the inner city form the outer city, intentionally cutting off the less fortunate on the outskirts. This was barely tolerable, as Aeolus came from a family in the outer city, but the final straw came when he overhead the Governor planning aloud with his general to kill off the poorest dragons in the outskirts of the city to minimize the population.
Aeolus left this awfully cruel city, but not before emptying the Treasury in the middle of the night and sharing the gold with every poor dragon in the city before keeping the rest to himself, the People's Champion. He hid all the soldiers' weapons in waste rivers, stole the personal crowns of the family, and destroyed the Governor's self portraits. With a criminal status he fled into the Forbidden Wood with Smoke until he crossed paths with Aphrodite, who was searching for flowers in a field only a few months ago. Since then his feeling for her have only grown despite the presence of Atlas, and he now teaches dragons and hatchlings how to fight in the arena. With the money of Piraeus solely belonging to Hyperion, Aeolus' guilt for the poor is now rested.
