TYCHE
Former Traveler | Adventurous | Caring | Curious Tyche had lived in the tangled wood all her life with the small clan of dragons she had grown up with, a small family of her own. She had always itched for adventure, but exploring the dark woods and reading books had been enough to satisfy her for a while. As she got older the hunger for finding new lands grew, and once she was old enough to leave the clan, she packed up her things and said a heartfelt goodbye to her family before setting out to see the world. She traveled for a few days through the woods before ending up in the scarred wasteland. She found the sight before her beautiful, the stars shown overhead and the scenery looked so different then the forests she was used to. However, when the sun rose into the sky she was forced to take shelter and only travel at night, the light being too much for her overly sensitive eyes that where meant for the darkness of the shadowy woods she had once lived in. She continued traveling until she eventually reached the starfall isles. The shining crystals and vast amounts of clear sky interested her, but the thing that interested her the most was the small speck of a building on top a tall mountain. The moonlight glinted off the top of the building, hitting something reflective, and the light sparked curiosity in her, acting as a beacon lighting the way for her to follow. She knew it would take a couple of days to reach the light and started her journey right away. She didn't notice when the bright stars slowly disappeared as the sun rose behind her, until the small glint turned into a bright glare, blinding her and causing her to lose all sense of direction until she crashed into one of the outer crystalspine reaches. Her eye's where permanently damaged from the light and she was badly injured from the fall. It wasn’t until two days of stumbling blindly across thin slopes that she found herself at the mouth of a cave that belonged to a small arcane clan. They helped heal her wounds, but even after everything had healed she refused to take the bandages off of her eyes, knowing she would never be able to see again. She missed the stars and the ocean and being able to read and fly, but the dragons in the clan helped her adjust to her new life, and she slowly became a part of the clan. She's been learning how to fly again, but prefers to stay inside their lair and work with her newfound love, alchemy. |
