Queens aren't supposed to lead. They're supposed
to be dainty, quiet, nonexistent. They're supposed
to be figures of kindness, wealth, they set trends and
the people follow. This was not the case with Hallow.

After an injury to her mate, Hallow had to take over.
She kept the King hidden behind the scenes, 'oh he's
off on an expedition' was always her excuse. She fretted
over him terribly, and took care of him like any loving wife
does. She led as well, Jacque couldn't do it any longer,
and eventually their kingdom was attacked by a friend and
they fled the kingdom out of fear. Hallow had to
protect her mate, she couldn't let anything harm him. That
was what love was, right? Sacrificing everything for the one?

So the two fled, and eventually found a pumpkin patch.

Considering their coloration blended into this overly-large
pumpkin patch, she decided they should settle there. And
slowly over time, Jacque began to regain memories, though
never the same. A once strong and stubborn leader had
turned perfectly fine ruling a pumpkin patch. Their own children
born from the pumpkins themselves. And even though Jacque
is not the same, and Hallow has experienced many difficulties
with this, she still loves him all the same.
