Personality: Very agreeable and nice, she enjoys preparing parties for her friends, both dead and living. She respects Life and Death, and will make sure all dragons who have crossed to the Other Side are remembered and honored. She speaks with a Mexican accent.
Azrael and Lacrymosa were watching over their 4 eggs nest, waiting for All Hallows' Eve to come so it could hatch. This was a special nest, for a very special day. Hopefully their babies would spread accross Sornieth, or maybe join the great Shadowbinder. Maybe one would stay in the Chiroptera Cult. Whatever the case, their magic was sure to be powerful, and their affinity to Death even greater than the others who shared their blood. Suddenly the first egg started to hatch. Soon, 3 babies were opening their purple eyes for the first time. Their colors may not be very suited to this particular day, but they were none the less members of their dark family, as the aura of decay surrounding them clearly showed. Lacrymosa gazed upon her new hatchlings, but her motherly instincts were screaming at her that something was very wrong. One of the eggs had not hatched yet. Worse, from the way her mate was staring at it, and her familiar was starting to get agitated, the baby inside was probable dying, if not dead already. She joined Azrael in his staring, meeting his shrouded, unblinking gaze, asking without words if there was something they could do. She did not want to have to sing a requiem to one of her own on this celebratory day. Azrael blinked once in quiet understanding and reassurance. He then closed his eyes, focusing on his magic, his peculiar affinity with Death itself, channelling the ambiant dark energies brought forth by All Hallows' Eve, and managed to bring back his baby's soul from the threshold of Life, tying it to the already decaying body of a small, pale Spiral. He then cracked open the egg, showing to his mate their last baby girl, forever scarred but not quite dead. Not quite alive either, though she could move just fine, as she proceeded to demonstrate by opening eyes hidden in her visible skull. "She's perfect. Welcome to our family, Calavera.", whispered Lacrymosa. Yes, maybe this one would stay in the Clan. Playlist: |
