Umbra

Umbra has a great enjoyment of playing tabletop roleplaying games. In the beginning, Ashfall was the only one willing to read up on and try to understand the games' often complicated rules, and that endeared him to her. He may have been kind of awkward, but so was she - like birds of a feather, but they weren't birds, so not really, unless you take it in a non-literal way, in which case yes. He couldn't start a conversation but could easily maintain one, and she was all too happy to talk up a storm but had to idea how to do so without infodumping someone's gray matter out.

Eventually, a while after the two got together, more and more clan members slowly trickled into her little tent, and with some dusty old rulebooks and cobbled-together boards and figures, she and her mate ran a great deal of campaigns - with him playing the sensible DM to her ambitious and sometimes-trollish DM, of course.
