Yaegar

Yaegar - Found as a new hatchling of a single egg in an abandoned Nest by Shimmer. Reared & taken into the Clan by Shimmer - His new Family.

Early Ice History......

Zolin waited with Kristal, seated high up on a rocky outcrop at the sunrise end of the Valley. Charging Yaegar with the duty of scouting the valley.

Yaegar flew low back & forth, one side of the valley to the other all along the entire length. To spot or flush out any signs in the way of beasts. On the return from the sunset end, Yaegar spotted the wolves. Rising then dropping like a stone, he smashed into the two wolves. With fast twists, tail swish, flailing claws & fangs he dispatched them rapidly.

That was when he heard the faint mewing!
Being very well aware of the dangers of wolves in contained spaces, Yaegar just had to investigate.
Entering a cleft in the side cliff wall, opening into a surprisingly larger cavern than expected, Yaeger froze.
Alert he listened. Slowing his breath as he strained to hear.
There!! To the right, but now the sound was a softer heart wrenching bleat.
In a shallow sand bowl tucked under a outcrop in the wall, lay a tiny bundle of soft silver fur.

No sign of any threat, just the tiny shuffles of beetles & the trickle, drip of water off to his left at the rear area. Again the little bleat sound, pink nose, pink tongue & a tiny mouth opened wide with the effort, lay the tiny cub.

He hurtled back out, bellowed long & loud. Took to the air & flew as fast as he could back towards the rest of his party gathering twigs & leaves in his wing rings as he passed.
