Hopesfire was from the highlands of Shifting Expanse. She spent her childhood on the dry plains, basking bright sunlight and learning the art of battling. She became a young and able warrior as she grew up. She advantured far away from home, into and through the Ashfall Waste, there, she met lots of new dragons and made some new friends. She then went north towards the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Hopesfire thought it would be a peaceful and beautiful place, but she was wrong. She did not know there was a fight going on. She was wounded and captured by some dragon clan from Plague. No one knew why there were there. The dragons took her to their lair. It was a place so different from her home. Humid air and weak sunshine mixed with the sweet, bitter taste of blood and corpse, brewing up a sick scent. The lair was built by a cliff, with countless bones of dragons and beastclans. This was not right. Hopesfire hated this place. She hated it. Those dragons, speaking a foreign language that she could not understand, refused to let her go. They kept her as a living trophy, but Hopesfire was supposed to be a free dragon, not some delicate princess being sealed inside a castle. Slowly she loses her mind, although she still looks pretty sane. The energy that is supposed to be spent in fighting and flying bundles up, radianting aroud her in the form of a light blue coloured aura made of flame and lightning, zapping and burning anything around whenever she lets her sanity go. |
