Head Engineer
The Best of the Best Buried in Blueprints HISTORY (Written by @luckgandor !) Born to two Tundras in a Wind Clan, Lucy does not remember much about her early years. Her parents died as a result of a Beastclan attack when she was very young, and she was kidnapped by those same Beastclan members after her parents had been killed. They ran with her for many days and nights, as her terrified cries fell on deaf ears. Before they could reach their destination, however, they were intercepted by a band of dragons, who had heard the hatchling's terrified cries and swooped in to rescue her. They defeated the exhausted Beastclans and rescued the tiny hatchling, whom they named Lucy. As far as Lucy is concerned, this Clan has been her only home. She remembers so little about her first Clan that she does not consider it a part of her history, and she also wishes to forget about that terrifying time when she was kidnapped by the Beastclans. Raised by the Clan's two leaders, Lucy wanted for nothing while growing up. As she grew, it did not take long for her to find out that she was... different from the other hatchlings. Although she was assigned the male gender at birth, Lucy never felt like a male, or really fit in with the other male hatchlings. She learned about sex-changing magic when she was still young, and convinced her adoptive parents to allow her to go through with it. Also as she was growing up, Lucy found that she had a knack for building and creating things. She would often draw up blueprints for different "creations" in her free time, and then make small models of them with junk she found lying around the lair. Her parents encouraged her to seek out and fine-tune this interest, and so she started to learn the art of engineering. She went at it with all of the enthusiasm of a Lightning-born dragon, and now she is the Clan's main engineer. PERSONALITY Lucy is, first and foremost, eccentric. There really is no better way to describe it. She does very odd things when in the middle of a creative spree, and coffee is her best friend. Some dragons have joked that her body has replaced its blood with coffee, instead. To this, she offers a shrug. She is also incredibly scatterbrained, even with coffee to offer her energy. She would forget her head if it was not on her neck, which is something she says often, especially when she forgets something important. She often writes notes down on her paws or on her arms in order to remember them. Lucy seems to reject most forms of organization, as well, saying that "being disorganized is her organized." Her lair is extremely unorganized, with all kinds of papers, objects, and materials strewn about. She will often sleep on top of her materials, as she does not have a set place for her materials and her bed is often covered up by them. She is also easily distracted and will often abandon what she's doing at the drop of a hat if something more interesting comes up. Despite all of this, Lucy is truly amazing at what she does, even if it takes her a while to get it done. |
