Though Resonance enjoys a party, she is no big fan of Prospero's, nor the debaucherous clan they run, yet she is a visionary when it comes to textiles, and one with the rare dedication to keep up with the clan's shifting landscape. She is obsessed with the project, though she is also unnerved by the knowledge that such passion is exactly what Prospero likes about her.
The Hub of Prosperity is built atop stone ruins of unsure origin, which crumble from above but always seem to have sturdy foundations below. What's left of these ruins is mostly scattered pillars, as well as the plateau upon which Prospero's chambers sit and an underground tomb kept hidden from the bulk of the clan. Strangely, attempts to erect new, permanent structures of stone or similar material have all failed; foundations sink inexorably into the ground, rotting and breaking apart within weeks.
Instead, the majority of the clan's walls, roofs, and shelters are made up of a vast collection of fabrics, draped, stretched, and tied around an army of wooden stakes. These are not exempt from the enigmatic rot, but are merely easier to maintain and replace, and such is the work which Resonance oversees. She dictates a rhythm of colours, strategically passing out supplies to whichever inhabitants have had their homes collapse on that day. Her budget is exorbitant, another uncomfortable reminder of Prospero's interest, but in the end, the clan keeps up it's garish facade, and neither Prospero nor Resonance feel shame in being so defiant of the land they live upon.
