Etymology: Absinthe (Listeni/ˈæbsɪnθ/ or /ˈæbsænθ/; French: [apsɛ̃t]) is historically described as a distilled, highly alcoholic (45–74% ABV / 90–148 U.S. proof) beverage. It is an anise-flavoured spirit derived from botanicals, including the flowers and leaves of Artemisia absinthium ("grand wormwood"), together with green anise, sweet fennel, and other medicinal and culinary herbs. Absinthe traditionally has a natural green colour but may also be colourless. It is commonly referred to in historical literature as "la fée verte" (the green fairy). Although absinthe was vilified, it has not been demonstrated to be any more dangerous than ordinary spirits. Recent studies have shown that absinthe's psychoactive properties (apart from that of the alcohol) have been exaggerated.
Absinthe's wide, toothy grin and blank eyes are enough to ward away most who approach her. She rarely means any harm, but, if she offers you any food or drink it's best not to take it. Collector and researcher of magical rocks and crystals her space glows with arcane energy in all manner of unnatural hues. Some may be ground into powders for potions or Vodka's lethal alcoholic concotions, but typically she doesn't know the actual effect of them until she gets an (often unknowing) dragon or creature to give it to. Experimenting on fellow clan members is highly disapproved of (unless theyre willing) so she contents with trying it herself or offering it to Vodka to play with. An excess of shiny jewels and such is sometimes also dealt with through her new found hobby of jewellery making, a decent selling export of the clan according to Mojito. 28093873_350.png
