B I O G R A P H Y

Shade when she was alive was a more passionate dragon, but those days are gone, and frankly would never be seen again. Shade back in her olden days was actually called Fable, and boy was she a starry-eyed dragon. She would quickly and easily latch onto any new hobby she could get, and was so happy back in the day.

That is until no more than when she was 20 years old; she was killed in a horrible "accident". Her family realized that Fable was dead a couple days later, as they had found her body and her ex-mate's right next to hers; because he had committed suicide to "be with her forever". What he failed to mention that he killed her right before.

Her family buried the two "lovers" together, this was before emperor dragons were well known, maybe only one emperor dragon had ever been known about. Funny enough this same grave would later contain a half dead dragon, who was much younger and was actively dying from brain cancer (brain dead state), named Ardent. There also were many corpses around the grave, unknown to Fable's parents.

Well this grave was right on top of a huge energy deposit of some sort, and slowly and painfully these dragons were slowly connecting to each other. It would only take no more than a couple hundred thousand years for them to connect fully, forming a new emperor.

The once half dead Imp was the first of the many to awaken, and frankly the most sane, somehow. Unlike the other two he had to deal with his own body fusing with another's as he never truly died. He was terrified, he could barely move and every time he tried it hurt.

Then the Imperial once known as Fable woke up, the constant hissing set off many alarms in her head. None of the dragons were quite sane, but they were trying to dig themselves out of the sort of hole they were all buried in.

Although when they got out of the hole, the multiple heads started trying to fight each other, except for Ardent's corpse, who was trying to stay out of the way. To put it nicely, the hunger of what was once Fable and the pure anger and betrayal, caused her to eat what was once the love of her life's head and other body parts. Anything that was once him, she destroyed and ate. She also ate a couple of the other heads that were attached to her out of pure hunger.

Although Fable never ate the one head, the one of the half dead Imp, she instead tried to move after the horrifying realization that she just ate multiple dragons. Fable also couldn't remember her own name, and was trying to remember anything. The other head connected to her just watched her basically have a mental breakdown.

He decided to give some suggestions as to what her name could've been, and one of them was Shade, the now name she goes by and trying to helplessly comfort the other half of him. He didn't even remember his own name either, but didn't mind nearly as much as Shade. The only problem he focused on was the fact that they were connected.

Afterwards Shade and the unnamed dragon went off, mostly due to hunger on his end. While they searched for miles on end, they couldn't find anything of worth. So they went to find shelter under a rather large tree and rest. Although right before they slept Shade had asked what his name was, and in his sleepy haze he simply said "Ash".
