Born to rigid and incompatible parents; Astrydr struggled in their beginning days with the Clan to make connections with others, including their own clutch-sibling. The relationships with their first three mates all ended in ways less than ideal, each more heartbreaking than the last, and afterwards Astrydr withdrew into their own solitude in order to reassess themselves and who they wanted to be. It was during this time that they reconnected with their brother and discovered a love for the arts, particularly pottery. This pastime taught them how to become attuned to their emotions and how to properly express their feelings and boundaries to others.

They have recently taken a new mate, and while still a bit tentative due to old hurts, this time it seems like everything will be alright.
